Whenever I visit a school, I bring pretty much two of everything I might need. That way if something breaks or doesn't work, I'm covered - 'the show must go on,' as they say.
Even though this is a free event on Facebook, it's strangely nerve-wrecking to think that things aren't working as they should be. What was especially bizarre, was that I couldn't find any help to remedy the problem.
I use the Facebook Pages app on an iPad to film the Live shows. It has the facility to add 'filters'. These filters also me to assume a different look, such as having two heads or pouty lips and freckles (not sure which suits me the least). You can even change the colour. My problem was that I had a permanent green filter over the camera that I couldn't get rid of. Fortunately, deleting and reinstalling the app - just in time I might add- meant the show could indeed go on.
