Complex Sentences
A complex sentence will contain a main clause and at least one subordinate clause. They are another type of multi clause sentence.
We can put the main clause at the beginning of our complex sentence.
For example,
I've visited thirty countries, because I enjoy travel.
Or wee can put the main clause at the end of our complex sentence.
For example,
Because I enjoy travel, I've visited over thirty countries.
Or we can put the main clause at the beginning of our complex sentence.
For example,
Because I enjoy travel, I've visited thirty countries, including Scotland and Wales.
